This 20-year-old One Direction singer recently got engaged to girlfriend Perrie Edwards and on Tuesday was on hand with his boy band mates in London to premiere the group's new documentary One Direction: This Is Us! Here are five things you probably don't know about Zayn Malik.
1. Born Zayn Jawaad Malik on January 12, 1993 in the British city of Bradford -- his father's background is Pakistani and his mother is English.
2. His favorite book is the Harry Potter series.
3. His first kiss happened at age 10 and he told the magazine Heat about the girl: "She was a little bit taller than me, so I had to stand on a brick. She was one of triplets and I kind of dated all three of them."
