ET Canada Taps Celine Dion for New Year's Eve

For its always anticipated New Year's Eve show, ET's sister show ET Canada has nabbed Celine Dion for a special performance this year.

Dion, who is stationed in Las Vegas for her three-year residency Celine, will make her debut on a Canadian New Year's Eve show this year as she rings in the New Year with ET Canada.

"I'm really excited about New Year's Eve," Dion told ET Canada. "We're doing our show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and at the same time, we'll be celebrating the New Year with a special live performance from our stage, for everyone across Canada. I can't wait... It's going to be a lot of fun."

The legendary singing phenomenon will perform a song from her latest album Loved Me Back to Life, appearing on her first New Year's Eve show in a decade.

Headlining the live broadcast this year will be "Heart Attack" singer and The X Factor judge Demi Lovato.

"I love my Canadian fans and can't wait to ring in the New Year with them in Niagara Falls!" Lovato said. "I am honored to be a part of this event and to be performing for my fans on such a special evening."
