Clip: One Direction's Fame 'Weirdest Thing Ever'
It's only been a few months since One Direction's concert flick This Is Us hit U.S.theaters and now the boy band is back with a new expanded version of the movie on DVD/Blu-ray and we've got an exclusive sneak peek clip!
Featured in the clip are One Direction members Harry Styles and Liam Payne, who reflect on their rapid rise to fame while fishing together on a boat. "I always think about the first day we'd heard we were in the paper," Harry says. "And we went and bought it," Liam recalls. "We all went to the shop and got like
three copies of the paper and then came back and just sat with it open
for ages, going 'We're in the paper,'" Harry adds.

The One Direction: This Is Us Ultimate Fan Edition -- which includes the original theatrical movie plus an extended fan cut, as well as 20 minutes of all-new footage, four additional songs and more -- can be downloaded digitally here and will also be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Tuesday, December 17th.
At one point in the clip, Liam reveals that he still sometimes doesn't grasp the consequences of the group's fame. "You know the funniest thing for me... the other day -- you don't really
realize about the fame sort of things -- until I actually look at you or
the boys. Like I was watching Niall the other day, and he got off the
bus. And I just saw my mate get off the bus and he just walked over and
he was like waving at these hundreds of girls, and I was just like...
it's the weirdest thing ever."
