ETonline catches up with singer-songwriter/ EDM super producer Matthew Koma to talk about his recent collaboration with Zedd and his solo record.
In recent years singer/songwriter producer Matthew Koma has made a huge career out of penning and recording some of the biggest hits with EDM artists such as Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia's Sebastian Ingrosso and Zedd.
Koma co-wrote Zedd's Grammy winning song Clarity and also co-wrote and was featured on Zedd's #1 Dance Record Spectrum. Their latest collaboration is Zedd's new single Find You featuring vocals by Matthew and Miriam Bryant. The single is featured on the Divergent soundtrack out now.
"It's really interesting with Zedd in particular because I think we've gotten into such a rhythm that we've [been able] to work in many different circumstances," he says of his frequent collaborator.
Koma is embracing his genre-bending sound as he puts together his solo album due next year.
"I'm really enjoying the ability and the opportunity to work in different genres and connect the dots, being from a singer songwriter background and having a footing in electronic," he explains of his recent work.
