By Zach Seemayer
Four years ago on Wednesday, July 23, was the birth of one of the world's hottest bands, One Direction. This entire week has just been a 1D fan fest, with thousands of the band's admirers tweeting obsessively about the anniversary.
On Wednesday morning, Niall Horan broke the internet when he tweeted a sweet, heartfelt thanks to his good-looking cohorts.
Over the last four years, the boy band has released three albums – Up All night, Take Me Home and Midnight Memories-- all of which debuted at No. 1. The group also won two MTV Video Music Awards and were named 2012's Top New Artist by Billboard.
