Taylor Swift's first official foray into pop music has been somewhat polarizing for fans, but country superstar Brad Paisley is on-board with this transition.

Calling her crossover "admirable," Paisley told E! Online that he was impressed with Swift's ability to "say in a risky way, 'I am going to evolve beyond what you know me for already.'"
Swift has long shifted between country and pop music, but recently made it official: Her next album will go down in history as "pop."

"For the record, this is my very first documented official pop album," Swift said during a recent live stream in which she announced her new album and debuted her current single, "Shake It Off."

"People are going to have to get used to it cause it's not the Taylor Swift obviously that you knew," Paisley said. "She was talking about how she cut her hair, and she is spending time in different cities more and becoming more of a product -- and she is a world famous superstar now. She is not just Nashville's, [and] we just have to kind of get used to that."

Paisley recently made his reality TV debut as a judge on ABC's competition series Rising Star and now he's releasing his brand new album, Moonshine in the Trunk. Wonder if Taylor has bought her copy yet?
