The "Fancy" rapper reacted to the post via Twitter, of which she later deleted, writing: "Why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows."
She added: "I'm disappointed you'd be such an a** for no reason."
Keeping the war of words going, Snoop later took a screen grab of the headline "New Rap Beef: Iggy Azalea Fuming Mad Over Snoop Dogg Insta Slam (Instagram)," and posted it to his Instagram with the caption: "This is news to me. I wish a b**ch would !! Hahahahahahahah."
Just this past week, the Australian rapper was spotted makeup-free catching a flight out of LAX. Aside from her fresh-faced look, the singer was pretty put together, sporting a green sweater, a long black skirt and a floppy hat.
Once the story of an alleged rap feud between the two hit the blogosphere, Azalea had another message for her 2.7 million Twitter followers. "I wish writers exaggerated the positive sh** going on in this world too," the 24-year-old "Booty" singer wrote. "I'm not 'fuming mad' at anyone."
Despite Snoop throwing a bit of shade on the hip-hop star, Azalea is having a good week. The rapper leads with six American Music Awards nominations, beating out Beyonce and Katy Perry.
