The 22-year-old "The Heart What It Wants" singer announced her highly anticipated collaboration with the 25-year-old producer/DJ on Monday, posting this cute photo of her wrapping her arms him on Instagram. She even went so far as to call him the Harry to her Sally, referencing the beloved on-screen couple in Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan's classic 1989 rom-com When Harry Met Sally.
"Harry to my Sally. #Feb22 #IWYTK," she initially captioned the pic, before curiously deleting the When Harry Met Sally reference.
"IWYTK" presumably is the abbreviation for their new song together, which is reportedly called "I Want You to Know." It's set to drop on Feb. 22.
According to One Republic singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder, who wrote the new tune, the fans are definitely going to love it.
"The new Zedd-Selena record that has been buzzing about? That's my song," he revealed to Billboard at a GRAMMYs party. He also gushed about working with Zedd, who he's previously collaborated with on the hit "Clarity." "[Zedd] crushed it. I went on a run today, and listened to it on repeat in my headphones. And Selena did a bang-up job. She killed it."
Selena and Zedd have had funs buzzing about their romantic status since they got flirty with one another at a Golden Globes afterparty, where the two held hands. ET also spotted the Disney actress giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek. Since then, the two have kept the rumors going through their social media accounts, with Zedd even posting a pic of Selena in bed three weeks ago.
But for now, after a tumultuous on-again/off-again relationship with Justin Bieber, Selena seems more than fine on her own. Check her out sharing this sexy black-and-white pic of herself on Monday showing some serious leg.
