Dave Grohl brought Foo Fighter fans to their feet on Sunday night, but he stayed seated.
After breaking his leg after falling off stage in Sweden this past month, Grohl was back performing on the Fourth of July in Washington, D.C. The 46-year-old rocker was seated on a Game of Thrones-style seat that had guitars shooting up all around him. In good spirits, the Foo Fighters frontman was still able to head bang and rock out in his purple cast.

He told the excited audience that he was "high as a kite" when he designed the throne, adding that he wanted "lasers and sh** shooting from the top."

Grohl and his band canceled the remainder of their European tour last month due to the musician's injury. They chose to perform this special show as the Fourth of July marked the 20th anniversary of the Foo Fighters' self-titled album.
