No one can stop Shania Twain but Shania Twain. Two weeks shy of her 50th birthday, she hasn't slowed down one bit.
The singer-songwriter's Rock This Country farewell tour has nearly sold out 70 cities, leaving fans wanting her to rethink her retirement from the road.

"I can only say that at this point, I've really missed making records," Shania told ET. "I've satisfied something very deep in me, getting back up on stage. I've met my own challenges, met my own goals. Now that I'm satisfied, I'm just ready to spend my time doing other things."
Shania's last album was released 13 years ago, so she certainly has enough new material to pull from. In 2008, her then-husband Mutt Lange was accused of cheating on her with her best friend. Ironically, Shania later found love with that same friend's husband. They've since married and have two kids between them.

"The new music is very emotional for me in a good way," Shania said. "It's been very therapeutic."
Then there was a time when some feared Shania would never sing again, but she said it was the pain from her divorce that actually helped her recover.
"I couldn't vocalize properly," Shania said. "I couldn't get the right tone. After my divorce I just felt that I'd lost so much that I had to try to get something back that I could maybe control ... I thought, 'I can't lose everything.'"
The Rock This Country tour marked her first North American tour in 11 years. The final date is Oct. 27 in Kelowna, British Columbia.
