Jennifer Lopez is returning to her Latin roots -- with a little help from her ex-husband, Marc Anthony!
The "Ain't Your Mama" singer has teamed up with Anthony's entertainment company, MAGNUS Media, and Sony Music Latin, who will assist in the development and production of her upcoming all-Spanish album.

Anthony will serve as executive producer on the project, with the first single slated for release next month. This will mark Lopez's first Spanish album in almost a decade, following 2007's "Como Ama Una Mujer," which Anthony co-produced.
"It is an honor to welcome Jennifer to the Magnus Family," Anthony said Thursday in a statement. "She has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one."
"Her artistry, professionalism and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain," he continued. "I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy."

Lopez seemed equally thrilled about the new partnership, stating, "I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family."
Afo Verde, Chairman and CEO for Sony Music Entertainment's Latin Region, Spain and Portugal, also explained that the project is "all about spotlighting [Jennifer's] spirit and soul."
"Jennifer is one of the most iconic Latina superstars of all time and a longtime member of the Sony family," Verde said, adding, "this is going to be a momentous occasion for fans everywhere."

Back in August, Anthony and his wife, Shannon de Lima, hung out with Lopez backstage at her All I Have show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, just 11 days before news broke that she had split from her longtime boyfriend, Beau Casper Smart, who was also present at the star-studded Las Vegas performance.
