NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy, are proud new parents.

The couple has welcomed their daughter, Isla Rose Earnhardt, and Amy took to Twitter to share the joyous news on Tuesday.

“She’s finally here!” Amy wrote. “@DaleJr and I are officially parents to a beautiful baby girl, Isla Rose Earnhardt. It feels like a dream. The best dream ever.”

Dale retweeted the post, adding some sweet words about how his life now revolved around his new family. “Everyone was right,” he wrote. “It’s a new beginning. Now everything I do will be for her and Amy. So blessed.”

The pair announced they were expecting their first child in October, with the 43-year-old race car driver sharing a cute snap of tiny pink Converse sneakers on his Instagram account.

"We are both thrilled and can’t wait to meet her,” he captioned the photo.

The couple started dating in 2009 and tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2016.

Dale, whose father was late NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Dale Earnhardt Sr., recently hung up his racing suit for the broadcast booth, taking a gig as a commentator for NBC Sports.
