Culture's Biggest Night hosted by Druski will air June 28 on BET. Performers will include Alexia Jayy, Ari Lennox, Baby Keem, BJ the Chicago Kid, Cardi B, Common, Doechii, Don Toliver, Durand Bernarr, Erica Campbell, French Montana, George Clinton, Kehlani, Kenny Iko, KWN, Le'Andria Johnson, Max B, Nas, Queen Latifah, Rapsody, RAYE, Rick Ross, Tems, T.I., The War and Treaty. Presenters and participants will include Carl Anthony Payne II, Chloe Bailey, Chris "Comedian CP" Powell, Deon Cole, DeRay Davis, Diarra Kilpatrick, Gail Bean, Isaiah John, Jaafar Jackson, Jacob Latimore, Keke Palmer, Kelly Rowland, Latto, Luke James, and Nia Long. Teyana Taylor will be honored as Icon of the Year, Sylvia Rhone will receive the Ultimate Icon Award, and Ms. Lauryn Hill will receive the Living Legend Icon Award.
BET has announced that Keke Palmer has been appointed to its newly established Board of Advisors, joining members including Bob Johnson, Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, Troy Vincent, Raymond J. McGuire, and George Cheeks. The board will bring together cultural icons, business leaders and industry visionaries to help guide the next chapter of the network.
Olivia Rodrigo has announced Daisy Chain Fields, a new music festival bringing together women in music to support and uplift women and girls. The festival, which sold out under 30 minutes, will celebrate the power of collective experiences to inspire new ideas, deepen understanding and drive action. The single day event will take place August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California and will have an all-women lineup that includes Olivia, Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Die Spitz, Doechii, Eli, Garbage, KATSEYE, Mistki, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, The Breeders, and special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks. Net proceeds from the festival will benefit non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
Katy Perry has released new single "Watch It Burn" which she co-wrote about permission to feel anger honestly. The sister track to "bandaids," Katy reflects on what happens when years of silence, people-pleasing and "love and light" conditioning finally snap.
The Academy of Country Music announced the special honorees to be celebrated at the 19th Academy of Country Music Honors taking place on August 19 at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Honorees for the "Country Music Industry's Favorite Night" will include Bill Anderson, Brett James, C2C: Country to Country, The Carter Family, Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, "Landman," Leslie Fram, Mike Curb and Scott Zolke. Additionally, previously announced ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year winner Ella Langley, ACM Songwriter of the Year winner Jessie Jo Dillon, as well as ACM Studio Recording Award and Industry Award winners will be feted at ACM Honors. Carly Pearce is back hosting for the sixth year and will be joined by Parker McCollum co-hosting for the first time.
Mr. Fantasy has announced his debut tour, MR. FANTASY'S SEXY LITTLE TOUR in support of his debut album, FANTASYLAND. The tour will kick off July 15 in Los Angeles and will hit Dallas, Nashville, New York and Chicago. Last night, Mr. Fantasy celebrated his new album at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in Los Angeles. Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Madelyn Cline, Lukas Gage, Vanessa Morgan, Cody Simpson were among the guests who came out to support him at his album release party.
Hilary Duff launched her highly anticipated world tour, the lucky me tour this past weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida. Hilary opened the show with "Wake Up" and performed other fan favorites and songs from her new album, luck... or something. Hilary shared, "You guys have made this all possible for me. It feels like such a celebration of our past younger selves to now and who we are. This just feels so full circle and so exciting."
Leon Thomas was among the honorees at the 2026 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. Leon was honored with the esteemed ASCAP Vanguard Award, presented in recognition of ASCAP members whose innovative work is helping to shape the future of music. He was presented with the award by his mentors and EZMNY label heads Ty Dolla $ign and Shawn Barron.
