Music stars from record company EMI are combining forces to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, including Coldplay front man Chris Martin.

Martin has given up the jacket he wore for his group's Viva La Vida world tour last year. The Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, David Guetta, Jeff Bridges, Willie Nelson and Corinne Bailey Rae also are contributing to the cause.

"Japan has been one of my favorite countries to visit and my heart goes out to everyone affected by this disaster," said Norah Jones, who is donating a signed guitar to the effort. "I'm so glad I can be part of this fundraising effort along with the EMI family."

The auction, managed by eBay, started Tuesday, April 5 and will run through April 21 with all the items available for viewing on the website.
