Alec Baldwin: '30 Rock' To End Next Year

Speaking before he went on stage at the National Dance Institute's annual fundraising gala on Monday, Alec Baldwin reportedly said that his NBC show "30 Rock" would end in 2012.

According to New York Magazine's Vulture website, when asked about whether he would follow co-star Tina Fey's lead and write his own book, Baldwin's reply was quite the shocker as he said, "I will tell you one thing, and that is…next year is our last year of [our] show."

Baldwin reportedly continued, saying, "Our contracts are expired in 2012, and Tina [Fey] is gonna have a big career directing films and writing."

Representatives for Fey and "30 Rock" have declined comment, although a source tells ET that the show hasn't discussed an end date with the cast.
