Michael J. Fox and Daughter Light Up the Empire State Building

Michael J. Fox lit up the Empire State Building Friday, with his adorable nine-year-old daughter Esme joining him, and he shared his thoughts on everything from Charlie Sheen's outbursts to Matt Lauer leaving "Today."

Michael, 49, tells ET that the famous New York icon is being lit up in orange and white -- the colors of his Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research -- to bring attention the organization, which aims to find a cure for the disease that Michael himself suffers from, in honor of Parkinson's Awareness Month. The foundation's Facebook page is trying to reach 100,000 fans; to help the cause, click "Like" here.

Watch the video for Michael's compassionate words of encouragement and support for Charlie Sheen, and his comical take on the "Today" show job opening.
