Be a Part of Britney Spears' Red Carpet Night

Everyone knows Britney Spears is a Southern girl at heart.  And now she's giving back to her beloved home state of Louisiana by hosting a red carpet evening for the St. Bernard Project, a non-profit organization that helps out residents still struggling to recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina.

Britney, along with mom Lynne and dad Jamie, will present an evening of "Southern Style" on May 11th. The event includes an elegant sit-down dinner of fine Southern cuisine, featuring traditional Louisiana dishes straight from the kitchen of Jamie Spears. Aside from having Britney there herself, the night will also include a surprise musical performance and a live auction.

"The St. Bernard Project is an incredible organization whose main focus is rebuilding Louisiana. I am so honored to be part of this cause. Louisiana will always be a part of my soul," Britney says.

To date, the award-winning St. Bernard Project has already rebuilt homes for more than 350 families with the help of over 32,000 volunteers.
