Newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton delighted guests at a charity dinner that marked their first official engagement as a married couple.
The couple -- officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- were guests of honor Thursday at a glamorous charity gala dinner held on the grounds of London's Kensington Palace. The benefit was held for Absolute Return for Kids (ARK), a global charity that seeks to improve health and educational opportunities for needy children.
More than 1,000 guests attended the black-tie event, with tickets reportedly selling for 10,000 pounds ($16,400) per person.
Kate looked stunning and showed off her svelte figure in a pearlescent rose sequin gown decorated with Swarovski crystals that was designed by Jenny Packham.
Prince William and Kate were married April 29 in a lavish ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey that was beamed to millions of television viewers around the world.
