WATCH: Casey Anthony Gets Sentenced, Will Be Released in Less Than a Week

Casey Anthony was sentenced today on the four counts of lying to the police she was found guilty of, and Chief Judge Belvin Perry gave her the maximum sentence -- four consecutive years in prison in addition to a $1,000 fine for each count. However, Anthony will get credit for time already served (nearly three years) and also for good behavior, and according to CNN, she will be released July 13 -- in less than a week.

Although Anthony showed no reaction to her sentencing, she was seen smiling and stroking her hair before the hearing.

Public outrage, and even celebrity outrage, has been building since Anthony was acquitted Tuesday of the first-degree-murder of her two-year-old daughter Caylee Marie. Celebrity outcries on Twitter exploded almost immediately after the sentencing, with the likes of Tori Spelling, "Real Housewives of New York City" star Jill Zarin and Kaley Cuoco voicing their displeasure.

Perhaps one of the most controversial tweets? Kim Kardashian's tweet reading, "CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!!", which sent the twitterverse into a frenzy given that her father, the late Robert Kardashian, was one of the defense lawyers who got O.J. Simpson acquitted of murder allegations.

Kim, however, stuck to her guns. "Reading the comments here &its nuts people think just bc I was close to the OJ trial I can’t have my own opinion on the Casey Anthony case?" she wrote.
