Television producer Al Taylor has come out to claim that he has a deal to score Casey Anthony’s first television interview for the staggering sum of $1 million, according to the LA Times.

Taylor revealed the news Wednesday via telephone on Dr. Drew's show on HLN. “I got a call early Tuesday morning, from a representative that said if you want to meet with her, be in this certain area in 15 minutes,” Taylor said. “I was game. I showed up. I wasn’t for sure if I was going to meet her, and sure enough, she was there.”

According to Taylor, he met up with Anthony and her legal team in Palm Springs to discuss the deal. He and his Private Elevator Productions outfit has even proposed the idea of Anthony taking a lie detector test in addition to the interview.

“I want to hook her up to a lie detector after we do the interview," Taylor said. "She was unsure about that of course, and I said, ‘Well, it helps you in the end.’”

Anthony became a national pariah stemming from her acquittal in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

In spite of Taylor's claims, Anthony's lawyer just issued a statement refuting the producer's reports. "Neither I nor Casey Anthony have ever met with or have any intention of meeting with Al Taylor."
