Jennifer Lopez Debuts New Separate Clothing Line at Kohl's Post Marc Anthony Split

Even after a highly-publicized split from husband Marc Anthony, who is also designing his own collection for Kohl's, there's no stopping Jennifer Lopez. The actress/singer/"American Idol" judge/clothing designer/superwoman is proudly showing off her new collection to O, The Oprah Magazine, which debuts at Kohl's department stores in September.

In the mag's September issue, Jennifer makes over eight O readers using pieces from her new clothing line. And although J.Lo may seem superhuman at times, she insists that she can definitely relate to the group of real women she's giving a fashion makeover to, among them a lawyer, a teacher and a recent college graduate.

"I'm a mom," she says simply. "I work. I want comfort. But I want to feel sexy and modern. I think most women want the same things."

And although it's no secret she has had previous failed ventures into fashion, such as her Sweetface brand, this time, she stresses that her collection only consists of pieces she'd actually wear herself, and that she has stayed involved in every step of the process.

The hard work seems to have paid off -- O creative director Adam Glassman is clearly smitten, describing her collection as "movie star pieces on the go."

But according to Jennifer, it's the real women wearing her collections' opinions that matter the most.

"This is the fulfilling part – to have women tell me, 'This is so comfortable, it fits so well,'" she says.

O Magazine's September issue, which includes the exclusive debut of Jennifer's line, is on stands August 9th.
