Sofia Coppola Weds Rocker Boyfriend

Director Sofia Coppola married her longtime rocker boyfriend, Thomas Mars, the lead singer of Phoenix. The couple married in a civil ceremony in Italy on Saturday August 27, 2011.

According to People nearly 80 people were in attendance at the ceremony at Palazzo Margherita, a historical building owned by Coppola's father, film director Francis Ford Coppola.

The bride wore a lavender gown designed specifically for her by Azzedine Alaia.

Coppola and Mars already have two daughters, Romy and Cosima.
