Conrad Murray to Appeal Manslaughter Conviction

Just days after receiving a four-year prison sentence in the death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray has submitted a notice of appeal to the Los Angeles Superior Court, according to papers obtained by ET.

The notice was filed "In Pro Per," meaning that, as of now, Murray is acting as his own legal representation. This is subject to change in the future.
The documents, sent Friday, list Men's Central Jail as the return address and includes Murray's booking number.
