Movie icon Jane Fonda received a special honor Wednesday as the Hollywood Reporter unveiled its annual Power 100 ranking of the entertainment industry's most powerful women.

At the breakfast ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Fonda expressed gratitude for receiving the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. Lansing -- a former actress and film studio executive -- is also one of the most powerful and connected women in Hollywood. She lauded her friend Fonda, 73, for her pioneering work in film, fitness, philanthropy and activism

Among the stars to stop by the red carpet to give their thoughts on the event were Kris Jenner, Nancy Grace, Kathy Griffin and Melissa McCarthy. Also making the Hollywood Reporter's Power 100 list -- at No. 38 -- was Linda Bell Blue, the Executive Producer of Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.
