Gene Hackman Injured in Accident

ET has confirmed that Gene Hackman was involved in an accident today in Monroe County, Florida at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Hackman was taken to a hospital in Miami for routine tests after being bumped from behind by a vehicle when riding his bicycle.

The 81-year-old retired actor sustained minor bodily injuries and departed the hospital after a short stay.
