Interestingly, Kahl's above mug shot, featuring the 27 year old beaming like an honor-roll student on picture day, was dubbed as the "prettiest mug shot [the police officers] ever [saw] come into their station."

Several days after his arrest, Kahl's rep tweeted a new statement, writing, "At this time we have no comment regarding the specific facts of the alleged incident, but we are confident that Kasey Kahl will be fully exonerated upon completion of a full investigation. We merely ask for patience until such a time that those facts can be brought forth. As Kasey is in the public eye, it is not unlikely that we would not be surprised if these persons bent on attaining their 15 minutes of fame, while intoxicated and perhaps fueled by jealousy, will antagonize and attack stars such as Kasey in a 'Jersey Shore' type brawl given the opportunity. These persons wanted their 15 minutes, which they received, and now those 15 minutes are over. The recent reports emphasizing any brutality on his behalf and downplaying his act of self-defense are entirely speculative and false. Kasey's lawyers will vehemently confront and respond to any and all defamatory, slanderous, and or libelous statements or claims and will defend him to the fullest extent of the law."
