Sneak Peek: Big Hair & Bigger Scandal on GCB

Published

The drama returns to Dallas in ABC’s new wickedly fun drama GCB, where you realize you can go home again, but only if you are ready to face the sins of your past. Based on Kim Gatlin's book, Good Christian Bitches, the devilish show stars Leslie Bibb, Kristin Chenoweth, Annie Potts, Jennifer Aspen and David James Elliot. Look at ET’s exclusive interview with the cast of the highly anticipated new series.

Kristin Chenoweth: My Roof Caved In

In GCB, Leslie Bibb stars as Amanda Vaughn, who was once the ultimate high school "mean girl," but has been forced to return home in disgrace after her marriage ends in scandal. A desperate Amanda is forced to turn to her quintessentially southern mother, Gigi (Annie Potts), for help. Socialite Gigi eagerly welcomes Amanda back in hopes of giving Amanda's two teenage kids a good southern upbringing. The only problem: Amanda is nothing like the cruel girl she was 20 years ago and is hesitant about coming back into Dallas’ high (and catty) society.

Turns out that Amanda’s former friends, now high-status ladies, are none too thrilled to see Amanda back in town. Carlene Cockburn (Kristin Chenoweth), once the object of Amanda’s ridicule, has made quite the surgically enhanced transformation since high school – and has yet to let go of the past. Then there's Cricket Caruth-Reilly (Miriam Shor) whose boyfriend Amanda stole and later married. There’s fallen beauty queen Sharon Peacham (Jennifer Aspen), whose chance at the Miss Teen Dallas was ruined by one of Amanda’s malicious rumors. Amanda soon learns that while she may have changed for the better, the ladies she left behind have not.
