Madonna appeared on last night's Jay Leno Show to promote her new album MDNA as well as to discuss her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl, which she admitted she was nervous about.
"It's the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done," the 53-year-old pop sensation admitted. "The Super Bowl is like the Holy of Holies of America…And I have to go on in the middle of that 'Holy of Holies' and put on the greatest show that was ever put on before."
When asked if there were any rules that she had to abide by when performing, Madonna responded, "Well, for sure no nipples," which was met by an eruption of laughter and applause.
"But I wasn't gonna go there. I mean, I don't like to repeat myself," Madonna added, making reference to a controversial on-stage blunder of her own at the 1984 VMAs.
Madonna's live performance will take place this Sunday during halftime of the Super Bowl.
