Lindsay Lohan is sober, a "homebody" and is "uncomfortable" with the nightlife now -- this according to a preview of her exclusive interview with the Today show set to air Thursday morning.

"That's not my thing anymore," Lohan tells Matt Lauer about going out. "I actually went out a few months ago with a friend and I was so uncomfortable -- not because I felt tempted -- just because it was the same thing that it always was before, and it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody -- and I like that."

Lindsay Lohan to Host 'Saturday Night Live'

When Lauer brought up parallels between her and the late Whitney Houston, who also publicly struggled with substance abuse issues, Lohan clearly gets uncomfortable.

"I don't want to go there," she says. "That's kind of a scary, morbid thing to discuss."

But the controversial actress does admit that she's been in denial about her substance abuse in the past.

"I think I did that for a long time," she says. "I think I was scared and you know, didn't want to admit it to myself, let alone anyone else."

Lohan has recently been making big strides to get both her personal and professional life back on track, receiving a positive probation report just last week. She will host Saturday Night Live this weekend.
