Kevin & Meryl to Unite for 'Romeo and Juliet'

Kevin Kline will join Meryl Streep for a one-night-only stage reading of Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet this spring in New York's Central Park.

The performance will take place at the park's famed Delacorte Theatre on June 18 to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Shakespeare in the Park series. Tickets for the event -- which will also honor Al Pacino for his body of work at the famous theater -- are being sold for $1,500.

Streep has performed five times at the Delacorte Theatre since 1976, most recently in Mother Courage and Her Children in 2006 with Kline, who has performed nine times in the park since 1970.
