Sister, Sister star Tamera Mowry-Housley is expecting her first child.

The 33-year-old actress confirmed the news to People on Wednesday, saying that she and husband Adam Housley -- a correspondent for FOX News -- are thrilled about their family expanding. "Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends," she told the magazine.

Tamera, 33, who married Adam, 40, last May -- said the couple will welcome the child in early November. Tamera's twin sister Tia gave birth to her first child -- a son named Cree Taylor Hardrict -- in June 2011.

"The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness, more like evening sickness," said Mowry-Housley, who is set to star in FOX's new comedy pilot Rebounding. "Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now -- more like myself."
