The 26-year-old Fakih -- the first Arab-American to be crowned Miss USA in 2010 -- was put on six months probation, given 20 hours of community service and ordered to attend alcohol safety classes during her sentencing hearing outside Detroit.

The former beauty queen pleaded no contest last month to driving while visibly impaired. Fakih has said she was not drinking on the night of her arrest last December, but two police breath tests indicated that her blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.

Fakih, who was born in Lebanon, ended her reign as Miss USA in June 2011.
