Russell Kissed a Boy & He Liked It

Russell Brand says he shared a "sexy" smooch with Alec Baldwin while filming the upcoming rock 'n' roll musical Rock of Ages and describes the 30 Rock star as a good kisser.

"I get to kiss Alec Baldwin," Brand told reporters ahead of his hosting gig for the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. "It is right on the mouth. It is sexy because Alec is a sexy man." When asked whether Baldwin was a good kisser, Brand responded: "Yes, he is. You'd love him."

The Arthur star -- who filed for divorce from pop superstar Katy Perry last December after 14 months of marriage -- expounded further on his apparent man crush. "Alec Baldwin has been one of the great kisses of my life," he told Britain's morning show Daybreak. "To be honest, in the first few takes I deliberately made it go wrong just so I could kiss him more often."

Brand portrays Baldwin -- who has had a series of highly publicized temper tantrums -- as easy to work with. "You'd think if [someone] were the biggest movie star in the world, they wouldn't be so interested in other people," the actor tells People magazine. "But he's very interested and caring. He really cares about what he does. He's a serious guy but very sweet. He's a joy to be around."

Rock of Ages -- which also stars Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Mary J. Blige -- is based on a Broadway musical of the same name that tells the story of two co-workers who fall in love during the '80s.
