Kellan Lutz went from rubbing shoulders with vampires to reptiles during a recent trip to Florida.

The Twilight star, 27, posted a picture to his <a href="http://www.whosay.com/kellanlutz/photos/200416" target="_blank">WhoSay account</a>, featuring the actor in the Florida Everglades with an alligator around his neck.
"With an American alligator, 4-foot individual about a teenager," tweeted Kellan, who is promoting the preservation of the animals and their environment. "It's nesting season now for these guys!"
Lutz made the trip to the Sunshine State with GQ and Lacoste.
