Wall Street Warrior: Pattinson Rings NYSE Bell

Robert Pattinson pushed forward with another high-profile public appearance on Tuesday by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Pattinson -- who until Monday had remained out of public view following his girlfriend Kristen Stewart's admission that she had an affair with married movie director Rupert Sanders -- joined the director of his latest film Cosmopolis, David Cronenberg, on the floor of the historic NYSE.

The 26-year-old heartthrob emerged from seclusion on Monday to do an interview on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and attend the Cosmopolis NYC premiere. He is scheduled to make additional appearances in the coming days to promote the film.

In Cosmopolis, Pattinson plays a multi-billionaire asset manager on Wall Street who travels aimlessly through the streets of New York City in his limousine while conducting investment trading from the back seat.
