Pauley Perrette Spills 'NCIS' Secrets

Pauley Perrette, Joe Mantegna, Viola Davis, Miranda Cosgrove and more of film and TV's biggest stars showed their support for the teachers who helped change their lives at the CBS Teachers Rock Special Live Concert at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Tuesday, and Pauley spilled details about the 10th season of her hit show NCIS!

"We are just starting our third episode back … it's been so fun, so exciting coming off the explosive season from last time. I think the cast and crew are more excited about season 10 than anything," said Perrette. The actress shared about this season’s guest stars, noting that Billy Dee Williams, who will be playing a World War II veteran, and Crossing Jordan’s Steve Valentine, will be joining up with the team on the small screen. Perrette also revealed that her long-lost brother and Anthony Dinozzo's father, played by Robert Wagner, will be returning this season, which the cast has dubbed "season X."

At the event, Joe Mantegna talked about the newest season of Criminal Minds and also mentioned he felt honored at being at the Teachers Rock concert, saying, "Teachers had a huge influence on my life. That’s where I became an actor. In fact, if it wasn’t for teachers I wouldn’t be here. So it’s a privilege and honor … to represent them tonight."

Viola Davis was out promoting her new film Won’t Back Down, which also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and hits theaters September 28. In the film, Viola and Maggie play two mothers who go up against all odds to transform their children's substandard inner city school. Viola, who plays a determined teacher in the movie, said, "I am here to celebrate teachers. I am here to celebrate what they do and what they contribute to the world and their value and how important they are."

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove, who was homeschooled, stopped to talk about her excitement about starting as a Freshman at USC this fall. "I just wanted to have the college experience because I did homeschooling through all of high school and I love learning and being in a classroom. I’m excited to start in two weeks!"
