Nancy O'Dell along with Entertainment Tonight executive producer and Best Buddies supporter Linda Bell Blue helped host the event, where they introduced best buddy Oliver Britten, who works on the ET staff.

"It's been an absolutely fantastic experience," Oliver told the audience at the Montage in Beverly Hills. "I can't say I would have predicted my life going this way."

Other notable guests included Maria's daughter Katherine as well as Cheryl Hines, Michael Chiklis and David Spade.

"This is about organizations like Entertainment Tonight that step up and lead," said Maria Shriver.
