In an exclusive interview with ET, Michael Lohan claims that his staged intervention for Lindsay Lohan (called 'unsanctioned' in an earlier press release from Lindsay's siblings) was done with the approval of the actress' team.
"Everyone was on board from [Lindsay's criminal defense lawyer] Shawn Chapman Holley to [Lindsay's manager] Evan Hainey," said Michael, who also named Liz & Dick producer Larry A. Thompson as one of those in agreement with the intervention. "They were all standing, waiting." Michael went on to claim that Lindsay "took off and went to another hotel" before anything could happen.
Earlier today, Lindsay's siblings Mike, Ali and Dakota, who normally shy away from the press, made public statements against their dad.
"Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan's hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f***ing ADR (Automatic Dialog Replacement) on The Canyons today," tweeted the film's writer Bret Easton Ellis. Patrick Bateman is the fictional serial killer in Ellis' novel American Psycho.
