"I am the proudest big brother on the planet," Scooter gushed at the event whose guest list included Usher and Jessica Szhor. "No one is prouder."

According to the website, Adam's organization focuses on building "strong structures and sustainable education programs" in "high-need communities throughout Laos, Nicaragua and Guatemala."

Scooter explained the Pencils of Promise story and philosophy, saying, "My brother built this organization with the idea that students and young people can make a difference, and they didn't need to have a lot of money. I remember he quit his high-paying job and he said, 'I'm going to do this. I'm going to start with $25.' And he built the first 10 schools with donations of $100 or less to prove that it could work."

The organization is heavily supported by Justin Bieber and received a hefty sum from Usher as he dropped $12,000 on a puppy during the charity auction.
