On Monday morning, according to Kirkland, Washington police, they were dispatched to a disturbance call involving a physical altercation between eight people and the use of a stun gun inside a home during a party. Injuries included a female suffering from a laceration to the elbow, a female suffering from a hip injury, and a male suffering from multiple bumps, scrapes and contusions. The female with a laceration to her elbow was identified as "Stevens' fiancée." According to the Kirkland police, "based on information provided by the persons involved and upon the officers' observations of the scene and visible evidence present," officers arrested Stevens.

After spending the night in jail, he was released from custody after the judge decided there was not enough evidence to charge him.
