Ed Asner Health Update
A rep for Ed Asner says the 83-year-old actor is being released from the hospital today after being treated for exhaustion.
Asner was hospitalized in Chicago after becoming ill during a performance of his one-man show in Gary, IN on Tuesday night. The star's rep told ET he spoke with Asner last night and that he "sounded very good."
During his performance in the one-man show FDR -- in which he portrays Franklin D. Roosevelt -- Asner became visibly confused and left the stage after only 15 minutes, members of the sold-out crowd told the Chicago Sun-Times.
