Michael Jordan & Guests Tight-Lipped About Wedding

Michael Jordan is reportedly planning to marry his fiancée Yvette Prieto later this month in Florida, but the basketball legend and his friends remained tight-lipped about the rumored ceremony during interviews by ET's Rocsi Diaz.

Jordan just laughed when Rocsi brought up the possible wedding -- reportedly set for April 27 on Jupiter Island on the Florida Coast -- and pointed out, "You're about to be a married man!" But the 50-year-old athlete/entrepreneur did explain why he's much more concerned these days with privacy after "living the rat race and being in the spotlight" for many years. "I'm still in it a little bit, but I can control it to some degree -- to me my privacy is the most important thing to me right now."

The interview took place last weekend on the sidelines of Jordan's star-studded Celebrity Invitational golf tournament at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Proceeds benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation, for which Jordan has already raised more than $6 million.

ET also caught up with Jordan's Make-A-Wish guest, 12-year-old Joseph Domingues Jr., who suffers from terminal non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Jordan fulfilled the special wishes of Joseph, which included a personal golf putting lesson and introductions to other celebrities on the red carpet at the other gala events, which were attended by celebrities including John Legend, Will Smith and many prominent athletes.

"To me it keeps me grounded," Jordan said about his involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. "You know, that I can be able to make a little kid  who's dealing with so much just smile for a quick moment."
