Watch Nick & Mariah 'Shut Disneyland Down'

Actor/comedian Nick Cannon and global superstar Mariah Carey rededicated their lives to each other in a fairytale ceremony and equally festive reception at Disneyland on Tuesday, and ET's Nancy O'Dell was the only reporter on hand.

The power couple renews their vows every year on their anniversary with each ceremony receiving the type of care and planning that most couples might give to their actual wedding. Disney Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons Marketing Director Korri McFann revealed that she and her team have been planning Nick and Mariah's vow renewal ceremony for almost a year.

"[Mariah] wanted to make sure it was a celebration for family," McFann said. She continued, saying that Mariah also wanted to "sparkle a little bit as well as have a little bit of romance."

The night came off without a hitch, as guests marveled at 10,000 crystals, 15,000 floral blossoms and a 9-tier yellow cake with white icing.

"We shut Disneyland down!" Nick said of the event.

After her storybook "I dos," it's back to the real world for Mariah, which is also pretty spectacular for the pop diva. Her single #Beautiful (featuring Miguel) drops May 6.

"I get to go back to doing what I love to do more than anything," said Mariah. "So I feel blessed."
