Brains & Beauty! Eva Longoria Gets Master's Degree

Eva Longoria can now add an advanced degree to her resume. The Desperate Housewives actress topped off her week at the 66th Annual Cannes Films Festival in France by heading back to the U.S. to pick up a master's degree.

Longoria, 38, was spotted in her cap and gown Wednesday as she stepped up to accept her degree in Chicano Studies from California State University. She took to Twitter to announce the big news, writing: "Aaand here it is! Me and my diploma!"

Her notable accomplishment quickly drew congratulations and praise from fellow co-stars and friends.

Longoria's former Desperate Housewives co-star Marcia Cross tweeted: "Huge congratulations on your graduation today!!!! From Canne to Cap and Gown. You are really something. Xoxo m."

Former Apprentice Bill Rancic also tweeted: "Congrats Eva!"

Longoria is currently executive producer of Lifetime's Devious Maids, a new drama set to launch in June that is based on a Mexican TV series of the same concept as Desperate Housewives. Of Longoria's accomplishment, the show tweeted:
