Nigella's husband Charles Saatchi admitted to assault after photos were released, showing him in a public place with his hand around Nigella's throat. Armstrong fears that Nigella might be keeping quiet on other abusive actions possibly suffered at Saatchi's hand.

"In my situation and a lot of other women that I've spoken to there's an extreme amount of shame that comes along with it, but also -- for me -- a belief that I was partially responsible," Taylor said, explaining why one might keep abuse a secret. "I was convinced that I was the one that would make him so angry."

Taylor told Rob that her first experience with abuse was similar to what was seen in Nigella's photo, but when asked if Nigella's husband should go to jail, Taylor responded, "I don't know if there's more to it than this. I hope that she'll become a role model and go out and tell her story, and if there was more to it, then I think that he should [go to jail]."

Following his admission, Charles Saatchi, a British advertising tycoon, was given a "police caution," which carries no penalty but can be used as character evidence in later cases.
