Katy Perry and John Mayer Back Together?

Katy Perry and John Mayer Back Together?

On-again/off-again couple Katy Perry and John Mayer appear to be in their "on" stage again.

Perry and Mayer showed up together at Monday night's Friars Foundation Honors Don Rickles event, which honored the legendary actor and comedian with Friars' Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy. According to People, the two "shared kisses" and were "very lovey-dovey" at the New York City event, and pictures of them holding hands confirm at the very least that the two remain close.

But if the reconciliation has indeed happened, perhaps the news isn't so shocking given Perry's admission to Vogue earlier this month that she was still "madly in love" with the Paper Doll singer, despite their relationship being "over" at the time.

"I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him," she said. "All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."

Other famous faces that came to honor Rickles at the Waldorf-Astoria included Robert De Niro, Jon Stewart, Craig Ferguson, Louis C.K., Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffin, John Stamos and Bob Saget. The event ended with all of Rickles' guests, including Bette Midler, Billy Crystal, Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, Bob Newhart and Tony Danza, singing a rendition of Frank Sinatra's classic The Best Is Yet to Come.
