About a month prior to Cory Monteith's tragic death, the Glee actor gave some simple advice to one of his fans.

While en route to Japan from Vancouver, the 31-year-old actor was asked by a flight attendant named Sheila to make a video for her boyfriend's daughter Mallory, the Global News reports. "I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school," Monteith says while smiling at the camera.
The video was posted to YouTube on June 13, and on July 14, the actor was found dead in Vancouver at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. He passed away of "mixed drug toxicity."
