David Cassidy Arrested For Drunk Driving

The Partridge Family star David Cassidy was arrested shortly after midnight on August 21 in upstate New York for drunk driving, ET has confirmed

The 63-year-old singer was originally pulled over by the Schodack Police Department for a minor traffic infraction, failure to dim headlights, but was later placed under arrest by the detaining officer for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Cassidy was taken to jail, where he posted $2,500 bail and was eventually released. He's due in court for a hearing on September 4.

Cassidy was previously arrested for DUI in November 2010 and thereafter had his driving privileges suspended for six months and was placed on probation for a year.
