According to local news station WBTW, Evans' 25-year-old boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, fled after being pulled over on Saturday but was tasered and put in the back of a police car, leaving Evans to speak with the officer.

"Honestly, we were trying to have sex," Evans, 21, told a North Myrtle Beach policeman. Evans went on to clarify that they were not having sex in the car, but were trying to hurry home.

While she seemed to blame the couple's libido for the poor driving, Evans did admit that they had been drinking.

Later, Griffith vomited in the rear seat of the police car and was charged with resisting arrest, speeding in a reduced speed zone, driving on the wrong side of the road, disobeying a police officer and driving under the influence, WBTW reports. This marked Griffith's third DUI arrest, according to the news source.

On Tuesday, Evans took to Twitter to air out her frustration.
