Before they were famous, Louis C.K. had already embarrassed himself in front of Gwyneth Paltrow. On Conan O'Brien's Thursday night show, the comedian recalled that he hit on the A-list actress while drunk when they were both just coming up in show business.
Louis used to write for Conan's program 20 years ago, and Paltrow, now 40, was one of their first guests. After the show, the cast and crew asked her if she wanted to attend their holiday party and that's where Louis got drunk and attempted to come on to the Iron Man actress. "I got really drunk. ...Gwyneth Paltrow was there, a young new actress ...and I was heavily flirting with her," the 46-year-old FX star admits (WATCH).
"I was saying stuff to her like, 'We should get married. We should just go out and get married.' ...I remember thinking, 'I think I'm gonna marry this young, cute actress.'"
